Of the four day excursion I took across the country from Utah to North Carolina,
the Smokey Mountains were the best part.
They were so stunningly beautiful
I kept saying
outloud, to myself in the car,
"Ah! It's beautiful!!"
Put camping in the Smokies and visit the largest home in America on the list of future adventures.
After an oh-so-pleasant drive through the foggy forest, purple-flowered trees, and mile-wide rivers,
I passed lovely green pastures dotted with horses and farm houses.
I stopped in Asheville for some delicious Southern breakfast.
I had a hard time choosing what to eat; the menu was awesome.
So I had two breakfasts and took half of everything home with me.
That's how we do, oh yeah.
Southern styler eggs benedict with thick-cut smoked ham and fried green tomatoes. BAM!
Perfect eggs, delicious everything. Home fries on the side.
Texas French Toast drizzled with a cream cheese syrup and fresh black berries.
Trendy breakfast in a trendy town.
It was the best leg of my journey.
I was pleased as can be :)
