I was in Seattle for work.
It's pretty close to Victoria, B.C.
I hopped on a ferry and went to Canada to visit this guy.
I wish I had pictures of that evening, because it was perfect:
He took me to dinner (oh my goodness! I had this heavenly
fettucine dish in a thai curry sauce named "The Prawn Broker").
We walked around downtown Victoria
and watched street performers.
We sat at the beach and talked about our five year plans
while we watched the waves
(not making this up, we are that cheesy).
I met his family, and we talked around a fire
in their backyard most of the night.
The next morning he took me to breakfast.
We came across a little orchestral group in period costume performing a morning concert in the courtyard of a local church (please go back and read that sentence again; it makes me feel like my life is a storybook).
We listened for a while and then
he dropped me off at the ferry port.
-- this is going to be fun.
